I desperately needed a storage unit. After looking around at several other companies, I decided to go with Southern storage. The gentleman at the front desk was so polite and very helpful. I am not good on sizes so I asked him if I could see a couple of the different units, he was more than happy to show them to me. Their facility is very clean and very well protected. I am confident with my decision.

Two years ago my husband and I sold our home of 35 years. We downsized due to our health issues. It was a very hard and emotional move. The young lady that helps us then was wonderful as we rented three large units. Little by little we have been able to downsize storage units, also. Even though we are 16 miles from Southern Self Storage, we continue to use your facility because of how well we have been treated and how well the facility is so well maintained. Our recent downsize to a smaller unit, Jeff helped us. He was great and is always so nice and friendly, as we come and go. In today’s environment, it is refreshing to have a young man like Jeff to deal with. He is a keeper. You do have a lot of employment turn over. Maybe you could have better incentives to keep the good personnel.

This is the best storage facility EVER! It is so safe and secure. The grounds and buildings are squeaky clean (even the bathroom). After seeing the facility and checking other's rates in the community my decision to rent at the Pine Forest Rd. location in Pensacola FL some six months ago was a no brainer! To top it all off site manager Vivian is so friendly and keeps her commitments to quality customer service. She is so well liked by her renters, she has managed to top off two big boxes of toys for Pensacola's Toys for Tots Christmas collection. I promise, you'll be so happy to have Vivian and the Pine Forest Southern Self Storage take care of your stuff!

The rental process was a little lengthy. They require you to get insurance which I really didn't want to get but it's not very expensive and to be honest. I'm glad I did period ☮️ of mind knowing that my items are protected from theft and damage. It's very clean inconvenient.

I thoroughly enjoyed setting up my climate controlled storage unit. It was totally pain free and Vivian Raimondi did an excellent job of explaining everything. We had Hurricane Sally and our house and my subpar storage unit flooded. A huge amount of my stuff was destroyed in the flood. I came in one day to get prices and there was nothing available. Then in no time at all, I was called that a unit was available. I was looking for the best of the best and I found it!! There are security cameras all over the place. And there is a big truck I can use to move my stuff free of charge. There is an large overhang to protect your stuff if it rains while trying to move! Setting it up and explaining everything was wonderful. What a delightful lady to work with!!! Kudos to her and I will definitely be recommending Southern Self Storage!!

I can't say enough GOOD THINGS about Southern Self Storage...Vivian was so kind, so helpful, and showed me everything they had to offer. This facility is clean as can be..restrooms on site, loading carts for free use, they have a moving truck available for LOCAL use, and there is a huge awning to pull under in case its raining. The prices are highly competitive and they offer several discounts which brings them less than most places and you get so much more. These units are climate controlled and kept quite cool...I am BEYOND thrilled with Southern Self Storage.

When I called them. A wonderfully kind woman answered the phone and made me feel very comfortable leaving my belongings with them. Vivian was so helpful and also offered me the truck for m move. It was an amazing experience. Jeff helped me the day of the moving and was just as kind as she was. The unit was easy to get in and out of and they had dollies to use. I never had any problems with this storage unit. It was convenient to get to and big enough for everything I owned. Then I got rid of several things and needed a smaller unit. So I moved around the corner to a smaller unit and they prorated the unit I was in. I really like the people I've worked with Janice and Mrs. Vivian.

I stored here for years but my big complaint is when closing out they don't return a prorated amount to you and they don't have a dumpster to get rid of boxes in. They also are a bit overpriced. Also it's temp controlled but that doesn't mean cool. It's ok.

Wow! Where do I begin? Melody has got to be the most caring and thoughtful person and Manager I've ever come across in a Business in self-storage. She goes out of her way to make sure you totally understand everything before you leave the store. She answers all questions that you may have and with a smile, in other words she not just doing her job she helps you feel like you have a friend.
