I went to this storage to store my RV, and met an extraordinary lady, named Wanda. She was very helpful, and willing to assist without any hesitation. I had recently acquired my RV and was struggling to get it parked in the initial spot, on the concrete. So, i called Wanda and she, without hesitation offered me another spot that was easy and convenient. She was professional, courteous and has been, consistently. Thank you, Wanda, and please keep up the good work! 👍

Great staff, open and friendly, treated with respect - a lot of experience. A great location that experienced minimal and zero effects from extreme weather, including hurricanes. I parked an RV outside on the grass with good results. The property is adding concrete, increasing concrete parking storage which will make the parking storage better places. Available 24h access which was very appreciated. Staff was great and helpful and I left due to moving out of state - would recommend to anyone and may use again if needed.

Mrs. Wanda at southern self storage was very helpful we had just moved back to Belle Chasse and had to put all our stuff in storage she got us a big unit. Come to find out it wasn’t enough and Mrs. Wanda gave us another overflow unit and was super helpful this storage facility is one of the best I’ve ever dealt with. If you ever need storage go here.

Great storage area! Feels so safe you don't even need a padlock lol. But seriously there is a gated entrance and security cameras all throughout. In a friendly neighborhood! With an excellent customer service.

To start, this place offers temp controlled units which was great due to my electronics (tv, MAC Pc, speakers, etc...). The unit is secured by a code that is designated to you only. Which means they can track your code and the amount of times it was used. This made it perfect for me to track if my ex wife was making any attempts to enter my storage unit. Corey (an employee) was great when it came to setting up automatic payments, securing the storage, answering any concerns, and was honestly a great person to speak to over the phone regarding any type of questions. Wanda, another employee. was amazing in regards to answering questions as well. Not to mention, she made it easy and efficient when it came to closing out my account and storage unit whilst ensuring that I saved as much money as possible. While still abiding by company rules and regulations of course. I 100% recommend this storage facility! If I ever need a storage facility again, I will 100% use this place.

Making the appointment over the phone with Jonah was a cool breeze. He was friendly, professional, and was able to answer my questions. He followed up with me and made sure I was clear on the details of the two reservations he made for me. The representative at the unit was also friendly and knew her job well. She explained the prices and sizes of the units and the layout of the facility. The facility was clean and secure. The units were cool and well maintained.

Everything went well. Just wished you had some incentives like waiving the fee for local residents, first responders,military etc. especially since there’s another storage right next store. They just didn’t have the size I needed and had no other choice or would have shopped around. But my house sold quickly and needed to move things while the weather was good. A lot of storage places atleast give discounts to AARP, AAA, First month free etc. You may need to consider.
