Heading from the East on HWY 60 toward Clovis, turn left onto NM-311 N heading north. Take a slight right toward NM-245 E/W Llano Estacado Blvd and continue straight. You’ll continue east past Barry Elementary School taking a right at the Prince St. intersection. Head south on Prince St. taking a left immediately after OfficeMax. Souther Storage will be on your left. If you’ve passed North Plains Mall, you’ve gone too far.
If heading West on HWY 60 towards Clovis, turn right onto C R G headed north right before the Love’s Travel Stop. Continue straight for a bit. Turn left onto E 21st St/NM-523 W headed west passing High Plains Baptist Church on your right. Once you reach the stoplight at the Sycamore St. intersection, take a right. Once you’ve hit a Y in the road, turn left onto Marvin Hass Blvd. Continue straight around the back of the mall. Southern Storage will be to your right at the road merger. If you passed JCPenny on your left, you’ve gone too far.
From downtown Clovis: Head north on N Main St. past Royal Oriental Grocery on your right and continue straight to Commerce Way. Take a left onto Wallace St. immediately after Red Stone Pizza. Continue straight until you hit the T intersection for E Manana Blvd. and turn right. Continue straight passing JCPenny and you will find our facility located on your left-hand side.
Great service, everyone I’ve interacted in there has always been professional and helpful towards me. This is my second time renting a storage there after coming back from being overseas. Nick was awesome, quickly got me set up and even remembered me from a year ago which was a pleasant surprise. Highly recommend southern storage especially if you are military. Great deals and discounts.
Customer service was good. Nice people. Only issue keeping it from 5-stars is that the online prices are way cheaper than what is quoted over the phone. They usually have discounts online too. Make sure you reserve online before going in and take a screenshot of the online quoted monthly price.
I'm sure it is a good place to rent a storage unit from. I don't have a storage unit there.

We called to see if any units on the size we needed were available. The person who answered was informative , professional as well as kind. We requested to see a unit before making a decision to rent. This was an easy process. When we got to the facility the manager was there to meet us at the exact time we requested. The process to rent was easy and the manager was professional and easy to talk to. While we haven’t used the unit yet- the process this far was great.
