We have found this to be a great place to store our motorhome during the winter months. The facility is clean and well lighted with excellent fencing and security. The grounds are kept mowed and roadways' while graveled. are quite smooth and adequate. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating and our interactions have been pleasant. We have been storing our RV there for several years and our church rented indoor storage for several years as well without incident or trouble. We have no hesitancy about rating them five stars. We stored our handicapped accessible Ford Conversation Van Camper at Southern South Storage. We were extremely satisfied with their facility. Whenever we took it out we were able to leave our automobile there and knew it would be safe while we were gone. The staff are very helpful and friendly. We would have continued to store the RV there, but sadly I was forced to sell it. I highly recommend this facility.

The air conditioned inside storage facility and the outside vehicle & boat storage area. The outside grass was better kept than most of the lawns in the Villages…. Well almost anyway! I rented a storage unit sight unseen at another facility and when I showed up it looked like a ghetto. The unit was full of garbage and had no cameras and no personnel on site. I was recommended Southern Self Storage by the moving crew and they were able to immediately rent us a beautiful clean facility that was air conditioned and spotlessly clean. It was like night and day difference. Ginger the manager was extremely professional efficient and set my mind at ease. Can't say enough good things about Southern self storage in The villages. Whatever you do steer clear of Lady Lake Self Storage. That place was a nightmare.

Returning customer for a month while my permanent yard is under repair. I have been disappointed to find the coded gate standing open for no apparent reason on two of the last three visits there. And when it is closed it takes too long to close after entering my code and I was piggy backed by by a non-coding vehicle which was not noticed or challenged by staff. Otherwise the yard seems to be taken care of and the office staff is helpful.

Convenience was our initial reason for choosing Southern self storage but the helpful, friendly staff has proven to be the reason we love this facility. We know our RV is safe and well cared while away. Easy entry and exit is also no concern especially for our big rig. Love this place.

Renting a space from Southern Self Storage was trouble free and no issues. The folks who work and run the storage units are very friendly and helpful. They explain everything before you sign. Having a truck there to use to move your belongings makes them one up every other storage company. I will be using them for all my storage needs.

I have been impressed with their professionalism, service attitude, and detail orientation. The facility is safe, secure, and the spaces are very clean. They offer a large number of units and sizes, and their rates are good. I received my second month free. They also make a moving truck available to their renters for a small $10 fee. They are in a good location, and have been excellent to work with.

The employees here are some of the nicest and most accommodating people I've met. The storage bays are spotless and they give you a free lock. They also have a restroom onsite. They are a complete pleasure to deal with and I highly recommend them!

Ginger went above and beyond from beginning to end. My movers kept promising to come and then totally flaked out on me , kept in touch with Ginger and she was very gracious about all the changes I had to make for my movers (I finally found someone else to move me, Operation Shoebox). Again, I can't thank Ginger enough. Oh the facility it self was very clean and affordable. Would highly recommend.

Safe clean great staff well lighted cameras electrical outlets a.c. units large lot for rv's boats cars etc. Just needs better pest control for ants and spiders but its Florida and its only on the outside lots inside is very clean.

This place is clean and secure. The manager (Ginger) is professional and very helpful. I was suppose to have my things moved from storage on a particular day, and they were a no show. Ginger immediately made a call and set me up with another mover. This storage unit property is an excellent business.

After three years at Southern I've always been confident of security of both my outdoor stored trailer and my climate controlled indoor storage unit. And with changing needs I've always been able to find the right size available. There are lots of choices in the area but none can beat Southern for my money.

The manager at this facility is extremely helpful and patient. She helped us rent the most efficient unit size for our needs. Unit was prepared and clean, ready for use.

The experience has been very good. The attendants during the week and on the weekends have been very helpful and great to get along with. The price is good and the cleanliness is excellent. The bug control is good also. The ability to get into the facility at anytime with the coded entry is very valuable. The air conditioned units are great for furniture and house hold goods. I would highly recommend these folks anytime.

I would definitely recommend Southern Self Storage. I use them for business storage. They are extremely pleasant and accommodating. The employees and owners made our transition from another storage facility seamless including flexibility in the use of the Southern Self Storage truck to move.
